How to Work with Me: What to Expect
Thoughtful travel planning, without the overwhelm
Planning a great trip takes more than finding a pretty hotel or choosing an itinerary online. My job is to understand what matters to you, guide you through the decisions, handle the details, and make the entire process feel easier from the very beginning.

We Start With a Complimentary Consultation
Every trip begins with a real conversation.
We’ll talk about where you want to go, who is traveling, your travel style, priorities, timing, and what you want this trip to feel like. We’ll also talk honestly about budget so we can make sure your expectations and your investment are aligned.
This is also our chance to decide whether we’re a good fit to work together.

You Decide If You’d Like to Move Forward
After our consultation, I’ll follow up with information about working together and my planning and concierge care services.
There’s no pressure to move forward. If you decide you’d like me to plan your trip, you’ll complete my travel planning agreement and pay my planning and concierge care fee. Your fee will be discussed during our consultation and is based on the scope and complexity of your trip.
Once that’s complete, I get to work.

I Research and Design Your Trip
This is where I take everything I learned during our conversation and turn it into a thoughtful travel plan.
I research the destinations, hotels, cruises, experiences, transportation, and logistics that make the most sense for you. I’m not simply sending you a long list of options or whatever happens to be cheapest.
My goal is to create a strong first proposal built around how you want to travel.

We Review and Refine It Together
Travel planning is collaborative.
I’ll walk you through my recommendations, explain why I chose them, answer your questions, and make adjustments where needed.
You’ll understand your options and feel confident about what you’re booking, without spending hours researching everything yourself.

I Handle the Booking and Details
Once you’re ready to move forward, I take care of the reservations and help coordinate the details.
Depending on your trip, that may include your cruise or tour, hotels, flights, transfers, private drivers, excursions, insurance, and other travel arrangements.
I also keep track of important dates, payment deadlines, documentation, and the many little details that can easily get overlooked.

I Prepare You for Travel and Support You Along the Way
Before you leave, I’ll make sure you know what to expect and what you need to do before your trip. You won’t simply receive a confirmation email and be left on your own.
And while you’re traveling, if something unexpected happens, you have someone to contact who already knows your trip and can help you figure out what comes next.
When you return, I’ll check in to hear how everything went. The more I learn about what you loved, what you didn’t, and how you like to travel, the better I can make your next trip.
